A meeting of the Ukrainian and American teams took place to discuss the prospects of future negotiations with Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a press conference with the Prime Minister of Norway.
Pointing out the planned meeting, Zelensky also spoke about other contacts with the American side, including with US advisor Kellogg. The continuation of this process will be active cooperation at various levels in the coming days.
The President noted: 'I would like to understand from the American side the Russians' readiness for the meeting and the conditions of this meeting. Will they agree to America's proposals, supported by Ukraine in the presence of European leaders - a bilateral, then a trilateral meeting.'
At this time, consultations are ongoing in Ukraine with partners regarding national security, and a meeting of advisors on this issue is also planned. Zelensky expects the development of a basic security guarantees plan, but he stressed that more time is needed for detailed development.
