President Volodymyr Zelensky assured Ukrainians in his video address: the fixed price for gas for households will remain unchanged throughout this winter, with no increases, despite the challenges of war and the budget.
In his daily address at the end of the 1322nd day of large-scale aggression by the Russian Federation, Zelensky informed about a conversation with Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and the decision of the Staff: to direct resources to frontline and border areas, where the destruction is greatest.
"Yesterday at the Staff, we decided to direct additional finances, additional equipment to the areas that need it. This is primarily the frontline, our border areas. All this is already being implemented," emphasized the president.
Gas tariffs for the population for the heating season 2025/2026
Regarding gas: the government fixes the tariff at the level of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter, as last year, to avoid a social blow - this will save families up to 500 UAH per month.
Savings on gas are part of a broader strategy: resources for social support are included in the budget for 2026.
"Also, this winter we will keep the fixed gas price for household consumers, there will be no increases in the gas price. We also need to already work on how salaries for teachers will increase next year, other social solutions - what has already been adopted must be taken into account in the state budget and in the specific activities of the government. Resources for this are available," Zelensky concluded.

Funding for frontline areas: equipment and funds are already on the way;
Gas fixation: without increases for households until spring 2026;
Salary increases: teachers +10%, other social payments in the budget;
Support for IDPs: new mechanisms, report coming soon.
Experts predict: without an increase in gas prices, inflation will slow down to 8%, and IDPs (5 million) will receive +20% assistance.
