Support Hub Initiative Launched

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a new initiative to establish public support centers in seven Ukrainian cities. He stressed their critical role in providing citizens with vital information on heating and electricity during a period of widespread uncertainty. The government has been instructed to enhance communication with businesses and energy companies to ensure these hubs offer effective assistance.

Locations for the New Support Hubs

  • Kyiv
  • Kharkiv
  • Dnipro
  • Kryvyi Rih
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Sumy
  • Chernihiv

Zelenskyy highlighted the need to keep the public informed on pressing issues like electricity imports. He also pointed to the necessity of developing clear guidelines regarding curfews to help businesses plan more effectively amidst the instability. This initiative comes as Ukraine continues to manage the consequences of targeted attacks on its energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the government include ensuring active public engagement.

“The support hubs in the cities are a specific task for the Ministry of Internal Affairs,”
Zelenskyy emphasized. He also stated:
“The government must provide solutions,”
to aid Ukrainians facing difficult circumstances.

The establishment of these support hubs could mark a significant step in improving dialogue between the government, businesses, and citizens, particularly during the ongoing energy crisis. By offering a centralized source for information and aid, this measure may help alleviate public anxiety and contribute to greater stability in these challenging times.
