On August 10, Volodymyr Zelensky met with the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The participants of the meeting focused on several issues: possible personnel changes, the situation in the Donetsk direction, long-range operations against Russia, and the needs of air defense. “Ukrainian precision allows us not to concede the initiative in the war to the Russians and provides an opportunity to anticipate diplomatic solutions,” he emphasized.
A significant block of questions was devoted to air defense, the protection of frontline and border cities, regional centers, and the capital. Zelensky noted that he expects specific results from Ukraine's diplomatic team regarding the enhancement of military capabilities.
“The issue of air defense for Ukraine must remain a priority for every leader and state capable of helping,” he stated.
