Phone Discussion Between Zelensky and Tusk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call with Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss the groundwork for potential trilateral meetings involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia at a technical level. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine has no obstacles preventing such talks but highlighted the need for the US to prepare thoroughly and secure Russia’s willingness to participate.
'I also informed the Prime Minister about the preparations for possible trilateral technical-level meetings between Ukraine, America, and Russia. From our side, there are no barriers, but it is essential that the American side gets ready and ensures Russia’s readiness.' Volodymyr Zelensky
Expressing gratitude for Poland’s steadfast solidarity and support during these challenging times, Zelensky noted:
