The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree to award 53 Ukrainians with state honors for their contributions to saving lives and restoring energy. Decree No. 1/2026 was issued on December 24, 2025, acknowledging the significant contribution of these citizens to the development of the country under challenging conditions.

The awarded individuals represent various regions of Ukraine, reflecting the wide scope of their activities and influence. The President met with the laureates of the Boris Paton National Prize 2025, where 73 laureates received awards for 10 scientific works.
