On World Theatre Day, Zelenskyy Honors Ukrainian Performers

Ukrainian Actors Receive State Honors

To mark World Theatre Day on March 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to a number of the country's actors. Among those honored was actress Liliia Rebryk, who was granted the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Liliia Rebryk, whose full name is Liliana Ivanivna Rebryk, has worked at the Kyiv National Academic Molodyy Theatre since 2001, where she holds the position of leading stage master and dramatic actress. She is a graduate of the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. Beyond her theatrical career, Liliia Rebryk hosted the morning program 'Morning with Ukraine' on the 'Ukraina' TV channel from 2017 to 2022. She has also participated in television projects including:

  • 'Weather Forecast'
  • The show 'Everybody Dance!'
  • 'Incredible Love Stories' on the STB channel

Other Artists Recognized

President Zelenskyy also presented the 'Golden Heart' award. Recipients of this honor included Serhii Sternenko, founder of the 'Sternenko Community' charity fund, and singer Iryna Fedyshyn. Serhii Sternenko was recognized for organizing fundraising efforts for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while Iryna Fedyshyn was honored for raising funds for the AFU and humanitarian causes at her concerts.

Liliia Rebryk commented on her award:
