Ukrainian President Extends Congratulations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented state awards to officers of the State Guard of Ukraine in recognition of their professional holiday. During a ceremony honoring their service, Zelenskyy conferred the following medals:

  • "For Military Service to Ukraine"
  • "For Impeccable Service," 3rd Class
  • "Defender of the Fatherland"

The President underscored the critical nature of the State Guard's work, noting that their efforts are vital for the security of numerous officials and state institutions as they perform their daily duties. The State Guard of Ukraine is a specialized agency responsible for protecting high-ranking state officials and facilities.

"I want to thank each of you. You do so much, you serve our state, you ensure the security of many officials," Zelenskyy said.

Recognition of Professionalism

He also highlighted the importance of the guards' professional service for Ukraine's international partners.

"I communicate a lot with our foreign partners, whose security you always ensure. No matter the delegation, they are always very grateful for your professional work," the President added.

The meeting was also attended by Ukrainian veterans who are winners and participants of the Invictus Games.

The awarding of these medals and the recognition of the State Guard's merits emphasize the crucial role these services play in ensuring Ukraine's security, particularly amid current challenges. The State Guard not only protects the country's leadership but also serves as a key element in maintaining international relations, as effective protection fosters greater trust from foreign partners.
