The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky identified key priorities of foreign policy for the coming months. One of the main focuses was on implementing agreements related to air defense systems and joint defense manufacturing with partners, including Denmark and other European countries.
Before winter, we must fully implement every agreement regarding the supply of air defense systems, regarding missiles for them, as well as contracts for procurement.
Zelensky also paid great attention to the PURL program, which involves the procurement of American weapons. Ukraine hopes to receive over $3.5 billion for new weapons, including 'Patriot' systems and drones.
The President also announced the establishment of joint defense manufacturing with several strong European countries, which is considered a historic breakthrough for Ukraine. Moreover, an active diplomatic week is expected soon on the international stage, as well as a visit from US President Donald Trump, which should contribute to the coordination of efforts to pressure Russia.
If there is not a truly significant response from the world to Russia's prolongation of the war, Putin will continue to perceive this as a permission to fight. Only a strong and united European potential in alliance with America can be a reliable defense.
Ukraine reaffirms its readiness to cooperate with other countries to ensure its security and protection against potential threats from Russia.
