Zelensky confirmed the death of the commander of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade Zakharevich as a result of a missile strike

In his address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky informed the public about the death of the commander of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade during a missile strike on Huliaipole. In addition, casualties among the civilian population were recorded.

The President emphasized that Ukraine will not leave this attack unanswered to Russian aggression. Also, during international contacts, Zelensky expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for supporting Ukrainian independence and condemned Russia's actions against Azerbaijanis. Additionally, new sanctions and awards for defenders of Ukraine were announced, including the ratification of the agreement with the Council of Europe on the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression and awarding 414 defenders with state awards.
