The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest address on September 2, stated about the escalation of the situation with Russian drone attacks and outlined the main directions of cooperation with international partners to strengthen the country's defense.

According to the president, the Russian side has become more aggressive and is now increasingly attacking Ukraine with dozens of strike drones during the day, which indicates the growing impudence and carelessness of the Russians. Military statistics show the extensive use of drones, which are used in significant numbers during attacks.

The Commander-in-Chief of the country emphasized that the intensification of the attacks is related to the behavior of the Russian leadership on the world stage, where Russian actions in the sky over Ukraine reflect disrespect and negligence towards international attempts to end the conflict. He also stressed Ukraine's readiness to respond to threats, including asymmetrically, so that the Russian side keenly feels the consequences of its actions.

International support and defense procurements

A significant focus in the address was placed on the issue of international assistance and financing for Ukraine's defense needs. Over 2 billion euros were attracted in August for the procurement of American weapons, including missiles for air defense systems and rocket complexes. The president emphasized the importance of ensuring stable funding and set specific tasks for the country's diplomatic missions for effective cooperation.

During his latest address, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed serious outrage and concern over the rising aggression of Russian attacks on the country, stating the necessity of strengthening defense and support from international partners. He also emphasized the need for funding defense needs and procuring modern weapons for Ukraine's protection.
