Zelensky emphasized that aviators are those for whom the sky is not just a job, but a dream and a calling. They do a tremendous job for the country by protecting Ukrainian skies.

The President thanked everyone working for the benefit of our security, the strength of Ukraine in the sky, and the development of Ukrainian aviation, assuring that he would do everything to ensure peace and security in our country. Happy Aviation Day, Ukraine!

To his greeting, the president attached photos of Ukrainian aviation technology and specialists working in this field.

Holiday of Pilots

It should be noted that August 30 is Aviation Day in Ukraine, the holiday of military and civil aviators, as well as workers in the aviation industry and transport.

This holiday is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of August according to the decree of the country's president, and it was established back in 1993 by Leonid Kravchuk as an act of solidarity with Ukraine's aviation specialists.

On Aviation Day, it is important to honor the efforts and contributions of aviators to the development of the country's aviation, as well as to remember the importance of safety in Ukraine's skies.
