The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky announced the appointment of Olha Stefanišyn as the new ambassador to the USA. He emphasized the importance of relations between the two countries and reminded of the necessity to fulfill agreements made with the American side, especially in the defense sector.
'My goal is to achieve full implementation of our agreements with Washington. Ukraine has always been heard in the USA,' Zelensky noted.
Moreover, the Ukrainian leader expressed support for intensive diplomatic activity with the American side and stressed the need for pressure on Russia to end the war in eastern Ukraine.
Zelensky's efforts are aimed at improving the country's security through support from the United States and active diplomatic activity on the international stage.
