Statistics of Russian Attacks on Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released data detailing the scale of Russian strikes against Ukraine during the winter period from December 2025 to February 2026. He also drew a direct comparison to the use of Iranian drones in the Middle East. Over these three months, Russia launched the following against Ukraine:

  • more than 14,670 guided aerial bombs,
  • 738 missiles of various types,
  • nearly 19,000 attack drones.

Zelenskyy stated that these figures illustrate the magnitude of the aggression Ukraine is confronting. This relentless bombardment underscores the challenges faced by Ukrainian air defenses, which rely heavily on Western-supplied systems.

Connection to Iranian Drones

The President further highlighted that the Iranian drones currently attacking countries in the Middle East, specifically the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, are identical to those being used in Ukraine.

“These are the same drones that the Iranian regime is now launching against countries in the Middle East,”
he emphasized.

In the final week of this winter period alone, the intensity of attacks surged to over 1,720 attack drones, nearly 1,300 guided aerial bombs, and more than 100 missiles, signaling a significant escalation in the conflict.

Furthermore, Zelenskyy stressed the imperative to counter aggression anywhere in the world, noting:

“Evil must be opposed in any part of the world. When the United States and its partners show sufficient resolve, even the bloodiest dictators ultimately pay for their crimes.”

He expressed gratitude to all those helping Ukraine defend itself and preserve lives in this difficult situation.

This data confirms a troubling trend of increasing combat intensity in Ukraine, with potential consequences not only for the country's security but for regional stability. The parallel between Russian strikes and Iranian drone use underscores the global nature of modern conflicts and the necessity for international cooperation to address them. Ukraine's actions in the face of this aggression could influence international policy, particularly the stance of Western allies regarding support for Ukraine's fight to maintain its sovereignty.
