Negotiations with American partners

Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the continuation of negotiations with American partners and announced the planned meeting of the 'Coalition of Willing' in Ukraine on January 3. He noted that during this meeting, security issues would be discussed, including the support for the Ukrainian army, which numbers 800,000 people.

The meeting of coalition leaders in France is also scheduled for January 6. Zelensky emphasized that despite media accusations from the Russians regarding the disruption of negotiations, 'we work every day.' He stressed the importance of supporting the Ukrainian army, which is 'number one on the security guarantees list.'

Main agreement and its details

The main agreement under discussion includes 20 points and four signatory parties: Ukraine, the USA, Russia, and Europe. Additionally, the President of Ukraine stated that 'the monitoring mission will be led by our partners, whom we trust and who are technically capable of doing so.' He also emphasized that 'these are US troops, and therefore America makes such decisions.'

Zelensky assured that the details of the negotiations have already been discussed and expressed confidence that the information about the disruption of negotiations is 'fake news.' Thus, active work continues on security issues and support from international partners.

The continuation of negotiations between Ukraine and the United States, as well as the planned meetings of the 'Coalition of Willing,' indicate that the Ukrainian side is actively seeking ways to strengthen its security amidst the ongoing conflict. The importance of supporting the army underscores not only the military but also the political component of these negotiations, as success in ensuring peace in Ukraine directly depends on the support of international partners.
