'A good, productive meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. We continue to coordinate our positions... It is important that we can all work together within the coalition of those willing to achieve effective security formats.'
During the meeting, they discussed the US-Russia summit in Alaska, security guarantees, working formats for security within the 'coalition of willing', support for the army, including the PURL program, and investment in drone production.
Zelensky also noted that further support for the Ukrainian army and defense production was agreed upon. Additionally, the parties discussed the PURL program and invited the British to join it.
Investment support for drone production was also separately discussed, which, according to Zelensky, is crucial at a strategic level. The president also expressed gratitude to his British colleague for the support.
We remind you that Zelensky had previously mentioned possible agreements during Trump's negotiations with Putin.
During his visit to London, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss security, defense, and cooperation issues between the countries. Further support for the Ukrainian army and effective security working formats was agreed upon.
