President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of a program for the controlled export of Ukrainian weapons in his evening address. One of the first proposals for partners will be marine drones, which have already been successfully used in the Black Sea.
“We also have the first proposals for partners regarding the export of Ukrainian weapons - modern ones. This will be a controlled export of our weapons, including marine drones,” stated the president.
Proposals for reliable partners
Ukraine is ready to offer its defense developments to reliable partners, taking into account the importance of ensuring the security of maritime routes for global stability. Strong contracts are expected to be signed that will contribute to both the defense capabilities of partners and the economic development of Ukraine.
It is also planned to use frozen Russian assets to support the Ukrainian economy and defense.
Earlier, Zelensky reported that an important decision has been made to introduce controlled export of Ukrainian weapons.
The president emphasized that there is a significant demand for Ukrainian weapons, and thanks to controlled exports, Ukraine will have the opportunity to increase the production of necessary resources to strengthen its defense capabilities.
