President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with military leadership and the Minister of Defense, during which key issues regarding the situation at the front, the Kursk operation, and the increase in production of Ukrainian drones were discussed in detail. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the meeting, the main focus was on the situation at the front, especially in the Pokrovsk direction, where a significant Russian military grouping is located. The President expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian military for their resilience in this area.
The situation in the Sumy direction and the Kursk operation
They separately discussed the situation in the Sumy direction. The President noted that the strategic tasks were successfully completed a week ago, which halted the Russian offensive in Sumy. According to Zelensky, this is an achievement of the Ukrainian military.
They also reviewed the situation regarding the Kursk operation, which has been ongoing for nearly 10 months and is successfully achieving its goals.
Ukrainian drones and their production
The meeting also covered issues related to Ukrainian drones: their funding, production, and contract execution. Zelensky emphasized that drone production is increasing, and more investments in this area are planned for the future.
Zelensky also noted that cooperation with the European Union for funding drone production will continue to ensure Ukraine's leadership in military technology.
The held meeting demonstrates that substantial attention is being paid to the situation at the front by Ukraine's military leadership, successfully accomplishing set tasks, and actively developing domestic production of Ukrainian drones to strengthen the country's defense capability.
