Negotiations between Zelensky and Trump

On December 28, 2023, Volodymyr Zelensky held negotiations with Donald Trump in the USA, during which security guarantees for Ukraine and a support package for post-war recovery were discussed. During the meeting, Trump confirmed strong security guarantees for Ukraine, which is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the countries.

Joint settlement plan

During the negotiations, Ukraine and the USA reached the final stage of preparation of a joint settlement plan, which consists of 20 points. This document is agreed upon by 90%, indicating significant progress in the negotiations. Trump and Zelensky discussed the details of the plan, which aims to ensure stability and security in Ukraine.

Zelensky also noted that as part of the economic package, the involvement of American business is planned, creating special conditions for the development and recovery of Ukraine, as well as developing a free trade agreement with the United States of America. These initiatives may become important factors for Ukraine's economic recovery in the post-war period.
