Negotiations between the presidents of Ukraine and the USA

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former US President Donald Trump held talks at Mar-a-Lago, during which they discussed the peace framework and security guarantees for Ukraine. The leaders' meeting concluded with a decision to hold a major meeting in Washington in January. A final stage of preparation for a joint settlement plan, which consists of 20 points and is 90% agreed upon, has also been reached.

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their participation in the negotiations. Next week, representatives of both leaders' teams intend to meet again to discuss further steps in implementing the peace plan.

Zelensky noted during the meeting: 'Ukraine is ready for peace.'

This indicates the Ukrainian side's readiness for constructive dialogue and the search for solutions to stabilize the situation in the country.

The discussion of security guarantees and the settlement plan underscores international interest in stability in the region.
