The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has traveled to France, where he met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. After the meeting, both leaders addressed the press, where Macron supported the idea of ending the war in Ukraine. Zelensky also received an invitation for a meeting from Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
At the same time, Britain has imposed sanctions against Russians involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children, as well as against organizations that implement ideas of military training among minors. The UK Defense Minister also visited Kyiv, where he confirmed the readiness to send troops to Ukraine after the conflict ends.
A massive military parade was held in China to honor the 80th anniversary of victory over Japan during World War II. The event was attended by Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. China demonstrated its military power by showcasing new missiles and military equipment.
