Ukrainian Military Units Receive Presidential Recognition
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has honored the military units performing critical duties on the front lines across several regions of the country. In the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, Ukrainian service members are demonstrating resilience and professionalism while defending forward positions against relentless assault. This public commendation comes as Ukrainian forces face intense pressure along a vast frontline.
The units receiving recognition include:
- The 5th Assault Brigade;
- The 1st and 225th Separate Assault Regiments, operating in the Huliaipole direction;
- The 429th 'Achilles' Unmanned Systems Brigade;
- The 13th 'Charter' Operational Purpose Brigade of the National Guard;
- The 101st Brigade for the Protection of the General Staff;
- The 475th Separate Assault Regiment;
- The 127th Heavy Mechanized Brigade in the Kharkiv region;
- The 25th Airborne Brigade and units of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment in the Pokrovsk direction;
- The 71st Jäger Brigade in the Sumy region;
- The 14th 'Chervona Kalyna' Operational Purpose Brigade of the National Guard and the 25th Separate Assault Battalion in the Ocheretyne direction;
- The 128th Mountain Assault Brigade in the Orikhiv direction.
"I want to commend our warriors: despite everything, despite the harsh weather and constant Russian assaults, we are achieving good results in defending our positions. It is important that on many fronts, our soldiers are doing exactly what is needed for Ukraine. Thank you all, guys!" - Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In a separate ceremony, the president also presented 20 apartment certificates to Heroes of Ukraine and to the families of soldiers who received the title posthumously. "Thank you, warriors! Glory to all who fight for Ukraine as if for themselves! Thank you to everyone who works so that Ukraine lives! Glory to Ukraine!" he added. Such gestures of state support are vital for maintaining morale during a protracted war of attrition.

The presentation of housing certificates to Heroes of Ukraine and their families serves as a symbolic act of gratitude for their sacrifice and service.
