Priorities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the newly appointed Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedоров, identifying the priorities for the agency. The meeting took place on January 14 and was the first important step in forming a new strategy for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The main task defined during the meeting is sky protection. This issue remains critically important in the context of the current security situation. The second priority is to enhance the technological component aimed at stopping the advance of Russian occupiers. To achieve these goals, Zelensky instructed to conduct an audit of funding for the defense sector.

Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedоров also announced that he would present a new team for the ministry soon.
Adaptation of the Defense Strategy
This meeting reflects the desire of the Ukrainian leadership to adapt the defense strategy to the new challenges facing the country.
