Awarding of housing certificates
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded 20 certificates for obtaining apartments to the Heroes of Ukraine and the families of fallen soldiers. This event took place on Armed Forces Day of Ukraine and became part of the state’s tradition of gratitude to the military. In particular, out of the 20 certificates awarded, 9 were received by the families of fallen soldiers, and 11 by the Heroes of Ukraine.
Military units that were honored
Among the military units whose representatives were honored are:
- Air Forces
- Territorial Defense Forces
- Ground Forces
- Airborne Assault Forces
- Unmanned Systems Forces
- National Guard
- State Border Guard Service
- Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The servicemen who received the certificates distinguished themselves in various regions of Ukraine, including Odesa, Mykolaiv region, Kherson region, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, Kyiv region, Kursk region, and Poltava.
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of this tradition, stating: 'We continue the tradition of Ukrainian state gratitude.'
The President stressed that 'it is precisely thanks to the courage and determination of the Ukrainian defenders that it was possible to preserve the country.' This initiative reflects recognition and support for those who defend the independence and integrity of Ukraine.
