Zelensky proposed Svyrydienko to head the government of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, proposed Yuliia Svyrydienko to head the government of the country and carry out its substantial renewal. The news about this appeared on the president's social media.



The decision was made following a meeting where Svyrydienko presented a report on the implementation of agreements with European and American partners regarding support for Ukraine, made at the conference on the country's recovery.



Strengthening the economy and supporting citizens


'It is necessary to implement all measures that will contribute to the strength of our state and society as soon as possible,' emphasized the president.


During the discussions, specific actions were also discussed to enhance Ukraine's economic potential, expand citizen support programs, and increase domestic weapons production. To this end, a reform of the executive power system in Ukraine is to begin.



Zelensky stated that he expects to soon receive the action program of the new government.



After the meeting between the President of Ukraine and the First Vice Prime Minister of the government, it was decided that the new government under the leadership of Yuliia Svyrydienko must take concrete measures to strengthen the economic potential of the country and support citizens. It is expected that the new team will quickly present its action program aimed at improving the situation in Ukraine.
