Meeting of the President of Ukraine with the Head of the SBU
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky listened to the report of the Acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Yevhenii Khmara, on the recent operations of the SBU and their results. During the meeting, the ongoing resistance to diversions and collaboration with the enemy, which remain a priority for the Security Service, was also noted.
Yevhenii Khmara, appointed as the Acting Head of the SBU after the resignation of Vasyl Maliuk on January 5, 2023, presented details of the operational measures carried out. Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that it is important for the SBU's combat operations to be implemented in accordance with the needs of Ukraine. The President noted that while it is still too early to discuss the results publicly, they meet expectations. New operations aimed at strengthening the protection of Ukrainian national interests were also agreed upon.
