Report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, listened to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, on the situation at the front as of January 13, the 1420th day of the war. The report presented important data regarding the military situation, particularly a 13% reduction in personnel losses in 2025.
According to the information, the defense forces of Ukraine are eliminating more Russian invaders every month than the Russian Federation recruits into its ranks. This indicates the active actions of the Ukrainian military and their ability to maintain defense capabilities.
Volodymyr Zelensky: 'Russian losses should not decrease'.
Furthermore, the president emphasized that 'our defense at the front is our strength in diplomacy'. At the end of his speech, he traditionally concluded with the words: 'Glory to Ukraine!'.
Situation at the Front
The situation at the front remains tense, particularly in the directions of Pokrovsk, Huliaypole, and Kupyansk, which requires constant attention and strategic planning from the Ukrainian command.
The reduction of losses among Ukrainian military personnel by 13% over the course of 2025 may indicate the effectiveness of the strategies being implemented at the front. The active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which exceed the pace of new conscriptions by the Russian Federation, indicate a gradual improvement in the situation for Ukrainian defense. At the same time, the tension in certain regions emphasizes that the war continues, and Ukraine needs to maintain a high level of combat readiness and strategic planning.
