In the Khmelnytskyi region, the villages of Shepetivskyi district are terrified of the wolves that are not afraid of humans. Predators attack domestic animals and even chase local residents. One of the residents recounted how a wolf ran directly at her in the garden. The woman managed to escape, but this episode was just one of many.
About 15 wolves are attacking domestic animals in ten villages
According to the gamekeeper, there were initially only two wolves in the area, but this year their numbers have increased significantly. This has led to a serious escalation of the situation. The chief hunter of the district believes that the only solution to the problem is to cull the wolves.
