Ukrainians have been explained how to receive financial assistance of 20 thousand hryvnias for winter, reported by the charity fund 'Stabilization Support Services'.
The winter support program in Ukraine provides for financial assistance or fuel briquettes for heating the homes of families in need. The initiative is aimed at ensuring a comfortable experience during the cold season, especially for residents of frontline areas and persons with disabilities.
Representatives of the organization emphasized that with the onset of frost, the issue of heating becomes critical for numerous families living near the combat zone. The aim of the program is to help them spend the winter in comfortable and safe conditions, despite the difficult situation.
Scale and opportunities of the program
The program will cover 800 families: 600 will receive monetary assistance, and 200 - fuel briquettes. People with limited mobility will also receive assistance with the delivery and unloading of fuel.
Evacuated citizens can apply for material assistance, the amount of which is determined by their category. Representatives of vulnerable groups will be able to receive up to 6,500 hryvnias as part of the 'Warm Winter' program for 2025-2026, which is currently under review.
