Winter Support 2025: Over a Million Ukrainians Have Already Applied for Payments

The 'Winter Support 2025' program is aimed at helping vulnerable populations during the heating season. As of today, more than 1 million Ukrainians, specifically 1,011,113 people, have applied for payments through 'Ukrposhta'. This initiative aims to support those who are most in need of financial assistance during the winter period.

Statistics and Conditions of the Program

Payments have already been made to over 403 thousand recipients. The program was launched on November 25, and applications for payments are accepted until December 24 inclusive. It is important to note that there is a contact center available for people with limited mobility, which can be reached by phone: 0 800 300 545.

Oleksiy Kuleba, a program representative, emphasized: 'The number of Ukrainians who have already applied for assistance shows how timely the 'Winter Support' is and how it reaches those who need attention the most today.'

To apply for assistance, it is necessary to visit any 'Ukrposhta' branch and have with you:

  • passport or another document that certifies identity;
  • identification code (RNOKPP);

For children, applications are submitted by parents, providing the child’s birth certificate.

The 'Winter Support 2025' program continues to gain popularity by providing necessary assistance to those who need it the most during difficult winter months.

Considering the challenging socio-economic situation in Ukraine, the 'Winter Support 2025' program is an important step in providing financial support for the most vulnerable categories of the population. Given the significant number of applications, it can be concluded that such support is in demand and meets the urgent needs of people during the winter period. The continuation of accepting applications until the end of December allows even more Ukrainians to receive the necessary assistance.
