The government continues to provide winter support to Ukrainian citizens. Through the assistance program for vulnerable categories, over 410 thousand applications have been submitted, and more than 272 thousand people have received assistance. Ukrainians can also apply for 1000 hryvnias until December 24, and the funds received can be spent on various needs.
To support citizens, the government has extended the period for using the funds from applications through Ukrposhta and in grocery chains, as well as launched the program '3000 km across Ukraine' for residents of frontline regions. Targeted assistance in the form of compensation for electricity and cash payments for firewood is also available for these regions, helping families survive the winter.
