Ukraine U-21 Women's Team in 3x3 Basketball Lost to Hungary in the Nations League

The Ukraine U-21 women’s team lost to Hungary with a score of 16:21 in the second match of the group stage of the sixth round of the 3x3 basketball Nations League. After a victory over Qatar, the Ukrainian team proved to be weaker than the Hungarian team, which made a comeback at the end of the match and secured the victory. The highest points (6 each) in this game were scored by Bohdana Lapkhan and Karina Panchuk.


The Ukrainian team is in fourth place in the overall standings of the 3x3 basketball Nations League and maintains fourth position in the conference after the conclusion of the sixth stage of the competition.



Successes at the European Youth Olympic Festival


Ukraine showcased an impressive performance at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place in the overall medal standings. Our team's tally includes 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This marks the second most significant performance for Ukraine in these competitions and a record number of medals for our country. The most medals won by Ukrainian athletes were in 2019 - a total of 25 medals.


The most successful sports at the festival included judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
