The Ukrainian women's U-16 basketball team achieved its first victory at the European Championship in Division B, defeating the team of North Macedonia with a score of 71:40. Our team showed dominance in the second quarter, winning the first half of the match by 7 points. The players under the guidance of Vitaliy Cherniy continued to extend their lead in the second half, increasing the margin to 31 points.
The Ukrainian team outperformed their opponents in all indicators, with Dominika Murzova being the best player on our team, scoring 22 points and demonstrating impressive statistics. After the group stage, Ukraine finished in fourth place and will continue to compete in the tournament for the 9-12 places. The next match will be against Denmark on August 27.
