The Ukraine Women's National Football Team has announced its squad for a training camp ahead of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers. The selection includes eight players based abroad with clubs in France, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Scotland, and Canada, highlighting the growing number of Ukrainian talents competing internationally. The camp will be based at Kharkiv's 'Metalist 1925' club, a choice that underscores the federation's commitment to supporting football development across the country's regions.

Preparations are scheduled to begin on February 22, with the team traveling to Antalya, Turkey, for optimal training conditions. Ukraine will play two crucial World Cup qualifying matches during this period: against England on March 3 and Spain on March 7. Both fixtures will be hosted at the 'Mardan' stadium in Antalya, serving as the team's designated home venue.

This camp and the upcoming matches represent a critical phase in the team's long-term preparation for the World Cup and are expected to further boost the profile of women's football in Ukraine. The men's national team is also preparing for its own campaign, beginning their Nations League journey on September 25 with an away match against Hungary in Group B2, which also includes Georgia and Northern Ireland.

The national team's intensive preparations reflect not only its competitive ambitions but also the rising interest in women's football within the country.

The inclusion of players from foreign leagues demonstrates the development of Ukrainian talent on the global stage, which is likely to raise the overall standard of the national side. Training in Antalya will provide the necessary facilities and environment for high-quality sessions ahead of pivotal fixtures, potentially boosting the team's prospects in international competition.
