Vietnam's Volleyball Star Refuses to Participate in World Championship Due to FIVB Gender Rules

The main star of Vietnam's volleyball team, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, has refused to participate in the World Championship for personal reasons. According to some reports, her refusal is related to issues regarding her gender after she was asked to undergo gender testing at the request of sponsors. However, the athlete declined this procedure, which led to her withdrawal from the tournament.

At the same time, the Ukrainian youth volleyball team suffered a defeat against Italy in the U21 championship. The Ukrainian team lost with a score of 0:3 and was unable to overcome the opponent. The most productive player was Yevgeny Boyko with 10 points scored. Currently, Ukraine is in third place in Group D, corresponding to the result achieved in the tournament table.
