Sports commentator and journalist Alexander Proshuta expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the refusal of Ukrainian basketball players to play for the national team. This was reported by Gmk.
Today, August 3, the head coach of the Ukrainian basketball team Aivars Bagatskis announced that Ukrainian basketball players playing in the USA refused to participate in the pre-qualification matches for the 2027 World Championship.
“Well done (s). Really. I have just one question regarding this matter. It is eternal, almost rhetorical. But it's there. If you don’t care about the national team. That is, in fact, about the overwhelming majority of basketball fans in the country. Why should we not care about you? Thanks again. Sincerely. Well done,” Proshuta noted.
