Housing under the eOselya program for servicemen will become more accessible
The government is expanding opportunities for mobilized servicemen in the field of housing mortgages. Under the new decision, they will be able to obtain a housing loan at only 3% under the eOselya program. This will be a step towards creating equal conditions for all military personnel, regardless of their form of service.
Applications for participation in the program can be submitted through the Diiia app, which will simplify and streamline the application process. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
"The government decision will allow mobilized servicemen to secure a mortgage at 3% instead of the usual 7%. We are taking a step towards creating equal opportunities for mobilized and contract soldiers," emphasized the Prime Minister.
The government has set clear limits on the area of housing to keep the program socially oriented: for an apartment – up to 115.5 m², for a house – up to 125.5 m². This will allow more families to take advantage of the preferential housing mortgage.
According to government data, 21,864 Ukrainian families have already received their own housing thanks to preferential mortgages, having taken loans amounting to 37.4 billion UAH. In particular, 6,438 servicemen and veterans have used this opportunity to purchase housing.
"Over the years of the program's operation, we see that the war does not stop Ukrainians from wanting to have their own living space in Ukraine. We are constantly adapting the program's conditions to the current situation," emphasized the Head of Government.
The government is creating more opportunities for mobilized servicemen to obtain housing mortgages at reduced rates, which will allow more people to have their own homes. The state program eOselya supports Ukrainian servicemen and veterans in purchasing real estate, promoting equal conditions for all military service participants.
