Captain Alexander Trifonov, known as Alex, died on March 12, 2022, during a combat mission in Popasna, Luhansk region. His body was found in November 2023. A resident of Luhansk, from the city of Rovenky, he graduated from the National Academy of Land Forces. After leaving the service, he worked as a real estate manager in Ivano-Frankivsk.
In honor of Alexander Trifonov, he was awarded the 'For Honor and Valor' award, the 'Hero's Cross' order, and the Bogdan Khmelnytsky III degree order. He left behind two daughters, a wife, and a father. The officer was buried at the Alley of Heroes in Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk community.
