Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to a new massive night attack by Russia that occurred in early December. Zelensky condemned these attacks aimed at civilian infrastructure, especially during the festive season. He emphasized the brutality of the enemy and the unacceptability of such actions.
The President also noted that the consequences of these attacks are felt in various regions of Ukraine. Residential buildings and businesses have been damaged, and one of the railway stations burned in Fastiv due to drone strikes. Zelensky stressed that such strikes have no justification and are senseless.
The attacks affected Kyiv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Lviv, Volyn, and Mykolaiv regions, hitting the energy system and infrastructure. Ukrainian forces recorded over 650 drones and 51 missiles, but fortunately, there are not too many injured, and they are receiving medical assistance.
Zelensky emphasized that the main target of the attacks was the country's energy sector. He called for additional pressure on Russia and the introduction of sanctions. The President also expressed gratitude to those currently on the front lines and fighting for Ukraine's security.

This attack is just one in a series of aggressive actions by Russia against Ukraine. Many cities and regions have already been subjected to attacks, and the energy system has become a target for strikes. Such a situation demands further actions and unity to protect our country.
