Ukraine and Greece signed a gas agreement: a new route for winter security

The Ukrainian government has announced that it has signed an agreement with Greece for gas supplies to Ukraine. This new gas source will help ensure the necessary import routes for winter.



The government has already secured financing of nearly 2 billion euros for gas imports to compensate for losses due to the cessation of supplies from Russia. European and Ukrainian partners, banks under the guarantees of the European Commission, as well as Norway and the USA, are supporting this process.

'We do not miss a single day to ensure our state. We have already signed an agreement with Greece regarding gas for Ukraine. This is an additional route for gas supply to have enough routes for winter,' said a government representative.


The government is making every effort to secure reliable gas supply sources in winter and expresses gratitude to everyone who supports Ukraine.
