The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that strikes were conducted on two strategic oil refineries in Russia on the night of August 30, 2025. The operation was carried out jointly by unmanned systems and special operations forces in collaboration with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The main goal of the strikes was to reduce the offensive potential of the enemy and complicate the supply system of fuel to the occupying military units.
The strikes targeted oil refineries in Russia, causing explosions and fires. The primary target of the operation was the 'Krasnodar Refinery', which is strategically important for the enemy and produces significant volumes of oil products. A repeat strike was also carried out on the Syzran refinery in the Samara region. These steps were aimed at undermining the offensive potential of the Russian military and forcing Russia to cease military aggression against Ukraine.
