Units of the Russian army located near Dobropillia are currently surrounded and eliminated. This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Dnipro', Viktor Trehubov. He noted that these units were cut off and surrounded, and their presence there will be short-lived.
“At least right now, Russian units that were moving directly towards Dobropillia have been cut off and surrounded. Therefore, they won't be able to stay there for long,” the spokesperson said.
As of August 24, the most tense areas remained in Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Lyman. However, in Dobropillia, the main threat from the Russian army's units was managed.
Earlier, the Armed Forces pushed back the Russian terrorist army from several settlements in the Pokrovsk direction. Overall, the situation remained tense from the occupying forces, but the Armed Forces continued active actions.
Ukrainian military continue to carry out active operations in the East of the country and successfully repel attacks from Russian units. Currently, the situation remains tense, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate strength and readiness to defend the territorial integrity of the country.
