The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the damage to several important facilities on the territory of the aggressor country. Efforts continue to weaken Russia's military-economic potential. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the General Staff.
«In order to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian army and complicate fuel supplies to the occupying troops, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the territory of the oil refining enterprise «Gazprom Neftkhim-Salavat» in Bashkortostan on the night of September 24. According to preliminary information, the primary oil refining unit ELOU-AVT-6 was hit. A fire is ongoing at the plant», – the message states.
It is noted that this enterprise processed up to 10 million tons of oil per year and is a key producer of liquid rocket fuel in Russia. The Defense Forces also inflicted damage on important facilities in the Volgograd region that are involved in supplying the occupation army.
Impact on production in Russia
Thus, a fire engulfed the oil pumping station «Kuzmychi-1», which is part of the transportation system for crude oil to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, the oil pumping station «Zenzevatka» was hit, which provides transportation of oil through the main oil pipeline «Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk».
Additionally, according to the General Staff, last night, Ukrainian Defense Forces units, in order to disrupt the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and reduce the combat capabilities of the enemy, struck the UAV production facility in Valuyki, located in the Belgorod region. Hits and a fire were recorded.
«The successful implementation of one of the previous missions has been confirmed. Thus, on September 22, long-range means of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Astrakhan gas processing plant (Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation). Production areas were damaged, leading to the halt of part of the production process. This GPP is one of the largest gas chemical complexes in the world and the main producer of sulfur for explosives in the Russian Federation, ensuring up to 66% of Russian production. The annual processing volume of petroleum products at the Astrakhan GPP is up to 3.2 million tons per year», – added the General Staff.
As reported, drones from the 'Alpha' Special Operations Center flew to Bashkortostan for the second time in the last seven days and struck 'Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat'. This is one of the largest Russian oil refining and petrochemical plants.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to carry out strikes on facilities in the territory of Russia to weaken the military-economic potential of the aggressor country. The attacks targeted key oil and gas processing enterprises, significantly affecting production and resource supply to the Russian military machine. The actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine caused serious damage to crucial infrastructure that is strategically important for Russia, forcing the occupiers to seek alternative sources and routes for supplying fuel and other resources.
