Military Targets in Russia and Occupied Crimea Hit by Ukrainian Strikes
Ukraine’s General Staff has confirmed attacks on several military assets belonging to Russia and its forces in occupied Crimea. The list of targeted sites includes:
- a car ferry near Kerch;
- the Titan-Barrikady defense plant in Volgograd;
- a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Feodosia;
- multiple Russian command posts.
Specifically, the vehicle ferry "Petropavlovsk" came under fire near Kerch. In Feodosia, a Russian Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun system was struck. The General Staff also confirmed a hit on the Titan-Barrikady facility in Volgograd, which manufactures transporter-erector-launchers and self-propelled launch systems for Iskander-M missile complexes. This same plant produces ground-based equipment and launchers for Topol-M and Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as Msta-S and Msta-B artillery systems. Following the strike, a large fire broke out on the plant’s grounds.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces damaged Russian command posts near Leninsky in Belgorod Oblast, Lyman in Donetsk Oblast, and Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, two Russian drone control centers were also hit in the areas of Kamianske and Luhove.
Second Attack on Oil Pipeline Dispatching Station
Ukraine’s Security Service reported a follow-up strike on the Vtorovo line production dispatching station in Russia’s Vladimir Oblast. This station is responsible for moving diesel fuel to the Moscow ring oil products pipeline. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the attack on the Titan-Barrikady plant, describing it as "a legitimate target because the enterprise produces weapons that Russia uses in its war against Ukraine."
