Operations by Ukraine's Defense Forces
Units from Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a coordinated fire assault on a Russian occupation logistics zone in Donetsk region. The operation targeted a Russian base located roughly 20 kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk, as reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces on their Facebook page. This strike highlights ongoing efforts to disrupt enemy supply lines in the eastern theater of war.
Working alongside the Eastern Grouping of Forces Command, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces, and the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center, the operation destroyed a logistics warehouse for material and technical supplies on the site of a former mine. Additionally, an antenna system set up atop a local waste heap was eliminated. According to military sources,
“based on available intelligence, the network of radio-technical devices helped the occupiers launch and guide Molniya attack drones against Ukrainian positions near Pokrovsk, and also provided internet connectivity for the occupiers in Pokrovsk.”
Effectiveness of Ukrainian Military Actions
In a separate engagement, Ukrainian forces routed a group of Russian invaders near the city of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. Over 20 Russian troops were spotted moving on foot from the direction of temporarily occupied Bakhmut. Thanks to Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detecting the enemy column's movement, artillery and attack drones were able to effectively strike the hostile personnel.
Furthermore, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, conducted a comprehensive long-range special operation. As a result, Ukrainian drones and missile systems hit a military-industrial complex facility and three oil logistics sites in the Moscow region, while also destroying air defense systems and airfield infrastructure on the Crimean peninsula. These actions underscore the activity and coordination of Ukrainian forces in countering Russian aggression across all fronts.
