Ongoing Frontline Clashes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported intense combat operations in the Pokrovske, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman areas, alongside the ongoing Vivaldi operation in the Donetsk region. Over the past week, Ukrainian forces have eliminated more than 10,000 Russian soldiers. The Vivaldi operation remains active in the Lyman direction, where units of the 3rd Army Corps and attached Defense Forces reclaimed the settlements of Shandryholove and Derylove and cleared the village of Drobysheve.
President Zelensky emphasized that the most intense fighting is concentrated along the Pokrovske, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman frontlines, while military efforts continue in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. He highlighted significant advances by Ukrainian troops on the Lyman front as part of Operation Vivaldi. "In total, our units have neutralized 10,660 Russian combatants—killed or wounded—across all active fronts this week," Zelensky stated, adding that each enemy loss is confirmed through video evidence.
Ukrainian Forces’ Tactical Advances
During the last week, Ukrainian forces launched preemptive strikes targeting enemy command posts, communication hubs, supply depots, pontoon crossings, and reserves. Air defense and electronic warfare units provided critical cover over the offensive zone, preventing enemy reconnaissance from detecting the operation’s intentions in time. Counteroffensive actions were carried out by:

- 125th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade
- Battalion-Tactical Group of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade

Among the most active participants in the counteroffensive are the 3rd Army Corps and the 68th Separate Airmobile Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the 8th Air Assault Forces Corps. President Zelensky highlighted the crucial role of these formations, noting, "Particularly noteworthy this week are the warriors of the 3rd Army Corps and the 68th Separate Airmobile Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush of the 8th Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
The combat phase remains highly active, with Ukrainian troops persistently working to regain control over previously lost territories.
