Ukrainian Armed Forces Destroyed Russian Mi-8 Helicopter: FPV Drone Strike Has Consequences

Today, September 29, the military battalion 'High Altitude Predators' of the 59th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter using an FPV drone. As a result of the strike, there are casualties. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing so-called Russian war correspondents.


Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively destroy enemy equipment using FPV drones. Despite statements from Russian representatives regarding the evacuation of the crew, Russian war correspondents confirmed the deaths of crew members without specifying the exact number.



Success of Ukrainian Military in the Fight Against Enemy Equipment


It should be noted that pilots of the 59th Brigade of the Armed Forces destroyed a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter using an FPV drone. The Mi-28N 'Night Hunter' helicopter is one of the main attack helicopters of the Russian army.



On September 9, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the hangars used by the occupiers from the 448th Missile Brigade named after S. P. Nepobedimogo for the hidden storage of the Iskander OTRK on the territory of the former poultry farm in Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the Defense Forces destroyed the Russian drone 'Forpost.'



Events involving FPV drones in the hands of Ukrainian military continue to destroy enemy equipment. They managed to shoot down another Mi-8 helicopter. Russian war correspondents confirmed the losses, although they initially tried to deny responsibility. Previously, Ukrainian defenders had already carried out successful attacks on other types of enemy equipment, as evidenced by previous events.
