Liberation of Tovste in Donetsk region
The Ukrainian forces have liberated the majority of the settlement of Tovste in Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' citing the Joint Forces Operation 'Dnipro'.
The 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade has regained control of the majority of Tovste (Tolstoye) in Donetsk Oblast for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian troops are actively participating in battles both day and night, destroying the enemy from the air and on the ground.

It should be noted that the Defense Forces repelled the offensive of Russian occupiers near Dobropillya and switched to a counteroffensive in this direction. Ukraine is experiencing the 1276th day of full-scale war. The Defense Forces managed to encircle the Russians and repel settlements along the line of Rubizhne – Zolotyy Kolyaz – Vesele, penetrating deep into the heart of the Russian military campaign.
Efforts in the fight against Russian aggression
The enemy launched two missile strikes using 43 missiles and 49 airstrikes, dropping 70 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 1850 kamikaze drones were used for attacks, and 3876 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops were recorded. New data as of August 21 recorded 116 combat clashes.
