Key security and defense leaders gathered at a meeting
Today, a meeting was held attended by the heads of all military institutions and security services of Ukraine. Intelligence reports from the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service regarding Russia's ability to continue the war and their future plans were discussed during the meeting.
One of the participants, Kyrylo Budanov, presented a report on the situation at the most tense front lines, Russian military preparations, and the strategic plans of the occupiers. It should be noted that Russia failed to capture Pokrovsk and Kup'yansk within the timeline set by Putin and was forced to postpone its plans again. Another participant, Oleg Ivashchenko, noted the political and economic situation in Russia and the general mood in their society. The conclusions drawn will be taken into account in further actions.
Defense and Protection Strategy
During the meeting, key priorities for the defense of Ukraine in the coming weeks were outlined, and a plan for defensive measures for the winter period was developed. The continuation of long-range sanctions, joint work of Ukrainian special services, and an increase in diplomatic activity with key partners are planned. The participants of the meeting discussed in detail the intelligence data and risks associated with Russia's activities in Ukraine, as well as developed a strategy for further actions to strengthen the country's security both in the coming weeks and in the winter period. In particular, a decision was made to continue sanctions and increase diplomatic activity to prevent threats and aggression. Teaching the whole world that Ukraine is ready to defend itself and its independence.
