Trump and Putin meet in Alaska: what is known about the results of the negotiations

The results of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska have become known. The leaders discussed several issues and conducted a series of negotiations.



This is the first personal communication between Trump and Putin in the last 4 years. Previous meetings only took place over the phone.



The negotiations took place in a '3 on 3' format. The US side was represented by Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Representative Steve Witkoff. Russia was represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and President's adviser Yuri Ushakov.



President Putin expressed readiness to ensure security for Ukraine and hope for a peaceful process in the region. He also proposed to Trump to meet next in Moscow.



Trump rated the meeting 10 out of 10 and emphasized the productivity of the discussion. He noted that the next meeting should be part of the plan with European partners.



The meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska opened the possibility for discussing key international issues and identifying common points of view. The statements made in the
